HISTORY

Anne and Réal Bergevin founded NuComm Marketing, a contact centre outsourcing and management consultancy, in the late 1990s. Over the next 10 years, NuComm became an award-winning global provider of outsourced contact centre and direct marketing services to Fortune 500 and 100 companies. After selling their business, Anne and Réal created NuVest Management Services. The opportunity, as they see it, is to provide the same value in outsourcing services to small and medium sized operation that is enjoyed by large companies. With offices in the Philippines and Canada, NuVest now offers its clients a global solution to their business processing needs.

Réal is the principal and cofounder, along with his wife Anne, of NuVest Corporation. Throughout his working life, Réal has been an entrepreneur, building businesses in a range of industries from contracting to management consulting and training. In 1996, Réal and Anne opened NuComm International, a small 8-seat call centre, which they grew to 14 centres and over 3,000 people across North America and the Philippines, before selling to Transcom Worldwide in 2007.

In 2002, Réal was honoured as one of Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40” corporate decision-makers, while NuComm was named as one of Canada’s 50 best-managed companies for five consecutive years under his leadership. Réal quite literally wrote the book on contact centres, authoring two books: “Call Centres for Dummies” and “23 Steps to an Effective Call Centre.” A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, where he obtained an Honours Business Degree in 1986, Réal was recognised as one of the university’s 100 “Alumni of Achievement” in 2011.

A leader in finance, with the qualification of Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant, Irina is the General Manager of NuVest Management Services, with over 15 years of experience worldwide. Irina has exemplary analytic skills that enhance and facilitate improved business decisions, coupled with the drive to tackle any financial challenge with focus and dedication. Irina is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova with a Bachelor of Accounting and Audit.

Vlad is an experienced professional with a history of success in project management, global operations, and outsourced services. In addition to focusing on business development, Vlad is a consulting and marketing enthusiast. As an Accounting Associate at NuVest Management Services, Vlad applies his creativity and knowledge to build marketing campaigns, develop promotional material, and apply business analytical skills for the creation of budgets and assessment of future plans.

A hands-on professional with nearly 20 years of human resources and employee relations experience, Anne serves as Human Resource Consultant for NuVest Management Services. In addition to managing Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits and Recruitment teams for a global contact center leader, Anne has developed corporate policies and guidelines in accordance with legislation across North America, the Philippines, and India. She has successfully led initiatives related to attrition and employee satisfaction; minimizing the risk associated with employee labor claims, and has overseen large-scale upsizing and downsizing of business efforts.

Sales Executive

Cameron is a Sales Executive at NuVest and is responsible for generating new business leads. Prior to NuVest, Cameron was a sales executive for more than 10 years on Bay Street where he was frequently recognized as the top sales person at his firm.

During Cameron’s career he spent over 5 years running the sales division at Global Securities and over 4 years working as the lead sales representative at two other firms, including at Union Securities. Over the past 10 years Cameron has launched several national, and international, sales campaigns, trained numerous junior sales staff and has consistently raised the bar for sales performance.

In addition to his professional qualifications, Cameron is active in his community supporting local school fund raising efforts and volunteering on his children’s various sports teams. Cameron has degrees from both Queen’s University and the University of Windsor.
